So I finally had time to work on them! Other than her flying pic, I had a look I was going for in the shots, and they came out pretty nice. She had such a great time just waddling around with the balloons! She has got to be the cutest 1 year old I’ve ever seen.

I’ve been doing a fantastic job on my Flickr 365. Yea, not really. I was doing a great job. Until I stopped posting my pictures. I have a whole bunch in my camera. And then I missed a bunch of days. And now I’m ticked at myself. I do this a lot. I have something that I’m supposed to do (like dishes, laundry, my 365), and I forget one day. And another day. And then it piles up. And up. And up. (And I know you’re not supposed to start a sentence with a conjunction, but I’ve already done it 7 times now, and I’m not going to stop, I think, ever.) Then, I put it behind me and I pretend it’s not there. But (see?) it’s there. And (haha) it will get worse and worse until I decide to dig in and just get ‘er done. The last 365 picture that I posted was on February 5th. I think I’ve missed at least 7 days of pictures between now and then. Which makes me disappointed in myself. I’m not really sure what to do about it. I could have a few make up shots and post them. Meanwhile, I haven’t gotten up the gumption to actually post the ones I do have. I’ll get to it. Over a months worth of pictures. Ugh. I will do it. Soon…

So I’ve started one. 365 days of shooting. At least one pic a day. I have no idea how it’s going to go, but ideally I’d like to take one picture a day for 2010. Mostly, it’s more of an experiment project, playing around with my camera on my own time. Taking pictures of what I want to take. Things that interest me, and don’t necessarily pertain to work. If it happens to be a pic that I’ve taken from a wedding or a shoot, it will probably be a picture that I am particularly proud of. So, we’ll see how it goes! I’m not going to even pretend that I will blog or even post the pictures everyday. But I will put them in my flickr stream. So, if you’re interested, visit the photo stream once in a while and comment on any of the pics. Thanks!

I’m about 2 weeks late posting these, but, I’m sure after you see them, you won’t mind. Lily turned 9 months on the 3rd! This girl is getting so big, so fast. In 2 and a half months she’ll be a year old! That’s insane!! Anyway, on to the gorgeousness!

I’m sorry I haven’t been posting regularly. I’ve been so crazy with wedding season that I’ve been buried under pictures. I come up for air once in a while, but I just haven’t been able to post. I have two more weddings for this season, and then hopefully I’ll be back to posting regularly.
So, I found this pretty great blog, called I <3 Faces. It’s great for pro and amateur photographers alike. They have weekly contests and themes and a Fix-It Friday. Fix-it Friday is basically where they post a picture and ask their readers to “fix it”. It’s not a contest, just a fun way for people to play around with pictures. Sometimes, the picture is already gorgeous, but they want you to put your spin on it and see what vision others have for it. I’ve been wanting to jump in, so here is this weeks fix, and this is my entry. It was fun to play around with a pic for fun instead of for work!

(From newborn pictures were actually done by Bella Baby Photography right at the hospital. She did so well and we had so much fun! She is such a sweet little baby. She just talked to me and stared at the big lens in front of her- like she usually does. She gave me a few smiles too. I just love this little girl!
